the hemplers ultimate Seattle dog fiasco from a few years ago may have just been them stumbling out of the gate. this is a true to form Seattle dog. not as good as the ones on occidental and twice as expensive, but not bad by any means

good news: t mobile park has improved condiment dispensers (and also pickle flavored ketchup!). bad news: they are way more aggressive about dispensing said condiments. a messy dog to start the baseball season

finally captured an icelandic hot dog outdoors. it doesn't look -that- weird, and two of the toppings (ketchup, mustard) aren't super out of the ordinary, even if they're a different interpretation of those condiments. the addition of the faintly neon remoulade and both fried AND fresh diced onion is what makes this a delightful wrinkle on the typical dog experience.

winning the ALDS in extras warrants a double dog day

opted for the full size mariner dog at game 5 of the ALDS. good thing, too, since i snagged these in the middle of the 6th and the game went for 15 innings.

this one was supposed to have fried pickles and little peppers on it. very scant with the unique toppings, and very disappointing as a result.

hot dogs are a pretty great bar food, i had to step outside so this one would qualify (i also felt awkward being in a bar after closing my tab after purchasing a single hot dog and no drinks)

this has kenai dip, which is a mixture of cheese, mayo, and jalapenos. decadent. others looked at what i had done and followed suit.

cooked this one to shit on a bonfire since there were many hungry folks and only 1 DIY bike-mounted grill (though that was cool as hell). photo was taken at about 10PM a week before the summer solstice.

got kinda sloppy with the toppings on this one. watch out!

a return to normalcy

this has a lot of shit on it, but it was tasty and big. a 5 star spectacle.

starting the 2025 season off weird in amsterdam. dog was not quite snappy in texture or taste, but the interesting toppings like pickles + crunchy stuff elevated it. definitely not the weirdest hot dog i had in europe (that belongs to Iceland, but that was consumed Inside the KEF airport and is thus not featured).

a nice return to form to close out the season. all toppings were available and generally just a tasty dog.

bad cook on this dog, possibly just sat in a warmer for too long. not all toppings available either. end of the season woes. a disappointing dog.

watched ashton jeanty beat the brakes off the cougs. hot dog probably tasted worse as a result.

late summer dog at the football game. the hot dogs are considered value items ($5) at lumen field and the quality is somewhere between the two offerings (junior/Mariner dog) at t-mobile park, closer to the full size Mariner dog. great value.

i opted for the Full Size Mariner Dog on this one. i usually get 2x junior dogs for the same price because more hot dog = more fun. the mariner dog is a solid ballpark dog.
